Founded in 2016 by Copenhagen native Principal Designer Luna Fruensgaard, Studio Lokken is a Pittsburgh based interior design firm.
Our design approach is people-centric and driven by architectural context. We strive to achieve a unique aesthetic expression in every project, drawing inspiration from art, design and architecture worldwide.
Studio Lokken's international design team brings thoughtful sophistication and character to an extensive range of work in both historic and new-built environments.
We continuously employ every creative impression and collaborative encounter to refine the contemporary classic signature aesthetic that shape our work.
What We Do...
The studio provides comprehensive interior design for residential and public spaces.
We create spaces that are personalized and creative, which retain inherent beauty and relevance through time. We believe that the best designs reflect the client's needs, enhances the inherent characteristics of a space, and adds an element of the unexpected.
How We Do It...
We begin every project by listening and asking questions. In close collaboration with the client, we form the idea of what the project can be; based on program, aesthetics, budget, and schedule.
We use space planning, 3D modeling, and material samples to visualize the space.
We work closely with architects, vendors, and contractors to ensure the success of each project from idea through implementation.
